Blower Door Testing
Blower Door Tests measure the air tightness of homes and help locate air leakage sites.
A special fan is placed in the front door of the home. This fan depressurizes the home by blowing air out of the fan, and in turn, sucking air into the home itself. A computer hooked to the device measures the air pressure inside and outside of the home, then calculates airflow, or the amount of air moving through the fan.

Air leakage is found by walking around the house and feeling for physical airflow – usually around doors, windows, etc.

Airlock Homes will complete a full test in about
60-90 minutes, start to finish.
